A session of interdisciplinary seminar, featured as the "Tea-time Talk", was held jointly by HEP and College of Information Engineering (CIE). The topic of the seminar was Smart Water. Four first-year graduate students from HEP and CIE presented their recent research outcomes. The presentations covervarious aspects in agricultural and city water management, including electric motor drives, IoT for city water, water management system structure, and robot control.

Four faculty members from both colleges attended the seminar and shared their perspectives on joint research in the areas of electrical & electronics engineering, computer science, and hydraulic engineering.
