Mitsubishi Electric (China) educational sector visited HEP on April 2nd 2019. The group led by Mr. Xu, the sector head, brought their featured Mitsubishi wagon loaded with the state-of-the-art Factory Automation (FA) demonstrations. During the lunch break, the Mitsubishi field application engineers gave FA demonstrations to a long line of eager engineering students, and explained the principles and technological trends of FA to the students. Mr. Yang, the Chief Technology Engineer, delivered a talk in the lecture hall in the afternoon, sharing Mitsubishi's e-f@ctory technologies and vision for industry-university collaboration.

Mitsubishi Electric is a long term partner with the Department of Electrical Engineering at HEP. Currently, there are one joint factory automation lab in HEP. Our students participated in the "National Electric and Automation Contest for Higher Education Students" every year.
