Dr. Zhengyu Lin, the EPSRC UKRI Innovation Fellow, from Aston University was invited to join our bi-weekly electrical engineering teaching excellence meeting. During the meeting, Dr. Lin provided an overview of British Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE) education system, including the curriculum development, accredition, professional development of teachers, and other issues that closely related to our on-going electrical engineering program development. Dr. Lin also shared his experience in syllabus development and intensive tutorial organization. The faculty members also exchanged their experiences and understanding in electrical engineering education in the meeting. After the seminar, Dr. Lin visited Smart Energy Lab (SEL) and discussed future collaborative research proposals in DC micro-grid development with Dr. Jiang.
