One week before our students' departure to Japan for the YZU-KAIT international exchange program, HEP international committee held a pre-departure tutorial for 8 students from the department of electrical engineering.
During the tutorial, HEP deputy secretary Mr. Jianjun Wang reaffirmed general guidelines of this visit, especially the standards of conduct for YZU exchanges students. Dr. Jiang, the assistant Dean on international affairs and the EE undergraduate program coordinator, provided the academic advises for the exchange program. Ms Xin Wang, the support staff on international affairs, also attended the tutorial.
The students (class of 2016) enrolled in this program will spend three weeks of time in Kanagawa Institute of Technology, Japan, to work on the credited capstone design project on various topics. Since the establishment of the partnership between YZU and KAIT in 2004, there have been more than 50 exchange students and teachers of these two institutes involved.
